Having worked with Mrs. Estes over several years and having had the opportunity to have several supervisors in my working experience, I can honestly say that Mrs. Estes is superior and exemplary as a departmental lead and supervisor. Her abilities to manage projects, timelines and deadlines, personnel, and situations make her an ideal candidate for any supervisory or leadership position.

Mrs. Estes is a solution-seeker and challenges her team in a likewise manner. She is willing to listen and examine various aspects and perspectives of situations and will work toward consensus while valuing the input of all stakeholders. Additionally Mrs. Estes is willing to try and develop new ideas through the lens of process improvement, and she supports her team as they also try.

Further, Mrs. Estes is an excellent project manager. Decision-making based on data and feedback are two key components that drive Mrs. Estes in determining how to proceed. Every decision can be backed with authority and evidence. Additionally Mrs. Estes finds projects that best suit the personalities, strengths, and interests of her team. She is extremely supportive of building leadership within her team and assisting her team in achieving its team and personal goals.

Additionally, Mrs. Estes has a wide background of planning and providing successful, engaging, and informative professional development. Her abilities extend from simple, short, targeted sessions of thirty minutes to an hour to planning and executing successfully full multiple day conference experiences. Her ability with logistics, planning, and preparation is second to none.

Finally, Mrs. Estes recognizes and values the best practice of vertical and horizontal alignment of goals and projects. Her leadership in this area has made my current team one of, if not the most, productive department on our campus. I found that to be true in my previous employment with her as well. She led the Digital First work teams and was praised for successfully presenting recommendations that were accepted upon initial proposal, with minimal modifications, because of her attention to detail and to alignment.

Any organization that has Mrs. Estes as an employee benefits greatly from her skill and abilities. The organization that recognizes and rewards her leadership skills, qualities, and abilities and places her in a position where she can have the greatest impact will benefit not only the employees whom she leads but the educators and colleagues whom she will impact exponentially.
