Today was the Google WebEx presentation on professional development. Really enjoyed getting to talk to the other presenters from Leander and New Caney. It's great to share with people who are in the same line of work...the ideas were really great! So...I was part of Google's panel for their professional development webinar today. It was interesting to talk to a group of people I couldn't see...lol. I usually feed of facial expressions and eye contact, so it was interesting to not be able to see the participants. I talked about the professional development I did for our district's Chromebook pilot. Then the other two presenters spoke about their districts...and then we had a Q&A with participants. It was cool. I've already been contacted by several participants with questions and have 3 of them attending an upcoming training we're doing for our administrators. It's GREAT when we can build relationships with other districts through opportunities like this! Great day!
