In an effort to introduce teachers to the concept of BreakoutEDU and to train them on the THIRTY boxes purchased by the Learning Technologies department, we held our first BreakoutEDU Academy. Almost 40 intrepid teachers gave up 6 hours on a Saturday to participate in a breakout and then learn how to work the locks and write their own breakouts! We had teachers who checked out boxes the very next week to use them with their students...they REALLY like the breakout model! What a great day and what great teachers!
